Find remote roles straight from company job boards, filtered by title, in one call. Each posting carries the remote flag its board published and a direct apply link.

The job

Remote job boards are aggregators: they repost roles from company career pages, often late, sometimes after the role has closed. The primary source is the company's own applicant tracking system, which is where the posting is created and closed.

A remote jobs search that reads those boards directly sees the posting when the company publishes it, and links to the company's own application page.

Why an agent needs a tool for it

An agent asked for remote roles in a field needs a filter it can trust and a link the person can use. search_jobs with remote_only keeps only postings the board marks as remote, and every posting comes with its applyUrl.

Without a company list the whole directory is searched: 107 boards and 15,443 postings in this call. boards_truncated names the one board larger than what is read of it. Shortened for this page: jobs shortened from 3 to 2.

Limits worth knowing

Remote is what the board says. Some companies mark hybrid roles as remote and some write remote only in the location text; combine remote_only with a location filter when the region matters.
Results come newest first within the tracked directory, not from the whole job market.
