Use case · Store Catalog
Check whether a site runs Shopify or WooCommerce
One cheap call tells an agent whether a store runs Shopify or WooCommerce, whether its catalog can be read, its currency and how many products it publishes.
The job
Lead lists for e-commerce tools, competitive research and catalog projects all start with the same question about a domain: what platform is this store on, and how big is its catalog. Answering it by hand means opening the site and reading its source.
Why an agent needs a tool for it
inspect_store answers from the store's public storefront in one call and costs 0.2 credit. An agent can run it over a list of domains to sort them by platform and size before deciding which ones to read in full.

}{

}A bare domain is enough. products_published is the count the store announces.

Limits worth knowing
- It recognises Shopify and WooCommerce only. Any other platform, or a store that does not serve its public catalog, comes back as an error that says so.
- readable means the catalog could be read at the time of the call. A store can block automated clients later.
