Use case · Store Catalog

Export a WooCommerce store's product catalog

Read every product of a WooCommerce store, or of one category, through its public Store API: titles, prices, categories, stock and images, in pages of up to 50.

The job

WooCommerce stores expose their catalog through the WooCommerce Store API, the same public endpoints the store's own cart and product blocks use. Reading it gives titles, prices, categories, stock status and images without an admin account.

Exporting a catalog, for a comparison, a migration study or a product feed, means paging through that API and mapping each product to a flat record.

Why an agent needs a tool for it

An agent can page through the catalog with list_products, 50 products at most per call, and stop as soon as it has what it needs instead of paying for the whole store. Give it a category page URL and it reads that category only.

For a full export to a spreadsheet, the Apify Actor reads every product of every store you list in one run and outputs JSON or CSV.

The calls

One tool call.

The category page URL was enough to scope the read. products_published is 3 and there is no next_page, so this one call is the whole category.
