Use case · Store Catalog
Search a store's products by keyword, from an agent
Find products in one Shopify or WooCommerce store by keyword through the store's own public search, with prices, availability and the product URL.
The job
When the question is about one product rather than the whole catalog (does this store sell a wool runner, what does it charge, is it in stock) reading every product is wasteful. The store's own search already knows the answer.
Why an agent needs a tool for it
search_products sends the keyword to the store's public search and returns the matches in the same compact rows as list_products. The agent then calls get_product on the one it wants for variants and barcodes.

Limits worth knowing
- Shopify's public search returns at most 10 results, WooCommerce up to 20. For more, page through list_products.
- Relevance is the store's own. Two stores can rank the same keyword differently.
